Boring Bars for Ceramic Inserts
Greenleaf industry-standard boring tools feature industry common, multi-lock hardware components and are available in a wide variety of styles for all common insert geometries. Most styles incorporate “through-the-bar” coolant feed with adjustable outlet nozzle. Greenleaf standard boring tools are precision machined from alloy steel, heat-treated for durability and long life and fully qualified to current ANSI / ISO specifications. Optional “heavy metal” shanks are available to reduce, and sometimes eliminate, vibration problems common to applications requiring extended tool reach.

Greenleaf boring bars for ceramic inserts are assembled for use with solid inserts. An optional lock pin and short series clamp is available to allow the use of inserts with a hole.
